Ascent Car Ramp

An older dog knows the tailgate is too high before you do. Ascent runs almost six feet, so the climb becomes a walk and their hips take none of the jump.

Seventy-one inches long, which is what makes the slope gentle rather than merely possible. Seventeen inches wide, enough that a dog does not have to think about their footing. The surface is carpeted and non-slip, stain resistant, and wipes down with a damp cloth.

It folds in four to about the size of a briefcase and weighs seventeen pounds, so it travels one-handed. The frame is aluminum alloy, reinforced at the sides and seams, and the maker rates it to 250 pounds.
